The Friends of the Carillon would like to thank everyone who attended the fund raiser dinner in July, it was a great event and raised enough money to see to the maintenance of the carillon.
In North America, there are only about 200 carillons and here at UCR, we have one of the finest. As we continue through the year celebrating our fortieth anniversary, it will be a splendid time to remember those who made this gift possible thanks to a Concert Series Sponsored by UCR's Chancellor France Córdova.
A beautiful 24" by 15" 40th anniversary poster of the belltower which includes various statistics and relevant events has recently been produced by UCR's Center for Visual Computing. For a donation of $25, you can receive this
limited edition 40th anniversary poster.
